3. Prepare for Sales

Enter into Set mode to do the below programming：

3.1. Change SET Mode Password

• Click: “Change Admin Password”, then pop up the password changing frame.

• Enter a new password following the hint.

3.2. Clerk Programming

• Click: “Clerck Programming” and enter into the clerk list.

• Select the clerk number to program its name and password.

• Maximum 24 characters for name or password.

• Up to 16 cashiers are supported

The details are as follows:

NOTE: All default clerk password is 0000

3.3. DEPT Programming

• Click “Department Programming” and enter into the department menu；

• Select the department to edit.

Menu samples as below：

• Maximum 26 department（DP1-DP26）.

• Maximum 32 characters for department name.

• Department price: The user sets the sales price of the department.

• Department price limit: Maximum 999999999.99 (Optional, if the department price limit is set, the sales price of this department cannot be higher than the price limit

• Departmental tax rate: Select the tax rate group linked to the department. Maxi 4 tax rate.

3.4. PLU programming

• Click “PLU Settings” and enter it into the PLU menu list;

• Select “ Add PLU”；

• Enter the PLU info following the hint.

PLU Settings are as follows:

3.4.1. Edit Basic Info:

• PLU ID: Set the serial number of the single product here, and the device supports up to 9999 single products.

• PLU Name: maximum 32 characters.

• Price: The maximum price support is 0-999999999.99

• Barcode (optional) : support International barcode type.

• Measurement (optional)

  • Pre-defined unit: kg、g、mg、m、m2、m3、L、mL、kwh

  • Self-defined unit: Click other to enter the name of the UNIT in the pop-up dialogue box. Maxi support 5.

• Inventory (optional): setting the stocking quantity of PLU, if empty then s/w will not follow its inventory.

3.4.2. PLU Hotkeys

• Click “Hot Key Manager” and enter into PLU hot keys edit window.

• Maximum 27 PLU hotkeys support (3PAGES*9 ITMES).

• If the hotkeys aren’t set, then it will show the first 27 PLU ID as the hotkeys.

• Select the Hotkey position you are going to edit on Page 1/Page 2/Page 3 (the programmed hotkeys will be shown on the pages. Number in the below picture.)

• Then select the PLU in two ways (Number in the below picture ):

• Scanning barcode to add the PLU to the Hotkeys list:

  • open the left icon on the bar to open the camera for scanning

  • If the PLU is in the database, then the scanning PLU will be added to the hotkey position.

• Index PLU to add to the list:

  • click the index window by entering PLU ID or Name or Barcode

  • then the index result will be shown (Number in below picture)

  • click this PLU, and it will be shown on the hotkey position.

3.5. Programming Payment Types

• Click “Payment Type Programming” enter into menu.

• Support total30 kinds of payment types: 7 pre-defined, 23 self-defined.

3.5.1. Open/Close Payment Type

• Can open/close the payment type by right button, only the opened payment type will be shown in the checkout page. It is displayed in order on the CHECK OUT MENU.

3.5.2. Self-defined Payment Type

• Click below button to enter into edit frame, programming payment name with maximum 32 characters.

3.5.3. Sort Payment Type

• Click “Payment Type Programming” to the list of payment type, can move up and down the payment type to sort them as you wish. The payment type will be shown in the check out as the sorting sequency

• 

3.6. Programming Foreign Currency（Optional）

• Maximum 16 types foreign currency (Currency 1-16)

• Foreign currency name support 4 characters

• Exchange rate support 5 digits integer +6 digits decimal: 99999.999999 Example：1 USD = 554.809998 KsH, then the setting as following:

3.7. Other Programming (Optional)

3.7.1. WIFI connection

• Click “Generate Settings” enter into the menu

• Select WIFI function

• Connect the WIFI

3.7.2. Connect to PC

• Setting Information such as PLU, department, and payment mode can be entered and set using

  PC Manager. The specific operations are as follows :

  • Use Micro USB cable to connect PC with device, or open device WIFI to keep them in the same WIFI network.

  • Click PC Connection switch to open it, then the PC MANAGER communication with device is connected.

  • For the detail usage of PC MANAGER, please refer to related user menu of PC MANAGER.

3.8 SIM Card setting

• Advantage:

  • Dual SIM dual standby

  • Support all mobile operator network connection of Ethiopia.

  • Support 2/3/4G connectivity

  • Click any of the Sim card to make its setting (card 1 or card 2)

  • Manually shift the preferred Sim card for the internet connection

3.8.1.SIM network setting

• Open “System Setting” menu

• Click “Data Usages”

• Select “Cellular Networks” by click right upper button “” on the prompt window.

• Click “Preferred network type”，finish the SIM card network setting

3.8.2.APN Setting

• Open “System Setting” menu

• Click “APNs”

• Add new APN by clicking the right upper button “+”

• Then enter the parameter of APN: APN、MCC、MNC and ect
